The Nelson Tasman Climate Forum is a community-led initiative open to everyone. Our mission is to weave individuals, households, civil society organisations, businesses, councils and iwi together around urgent, strategic action on climate change in the Nelson-Tasman region.
We hold face-to-face hui four times each year. These hui are an opportunity to connect, welcome new people into the Forum, share and celebrate progress, action and ideas together. This August Hui had to be a face-to-face one. Unfortunately, due to the sanitary situation, it will be difficult to meet face to face this Saturday as we had planned. However, we propose to keep our meeting as planned, and see us online.
The agenda is available here.
We still propose to consider action in our own homes as a basis for awareness, education, and advocacy, and to learn more about our own carbon footprint and develop our own climate action plan (see here for information to gather to make the most of the exercise).
The Hui is open to everyone, so invite your friends, whānau, classmates, coworkers, roommates, and anyone else you know who wants to join our kōrero and take urgent and strategic climate action in Nelson Tasman.
See you online!
