The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change.The IPCC prepares comprehensive Assessment Reports about knowledge on climate change, its causes, potential impacts and response options. The latest is the 6th report, released in Aug 2021, in time for the 26th UN Climate Change summit (also known as COP26) to be held in Glasgow from 31 Oct – 12 Nov 2021.
